Learning to close your eyes before the blow

Thus begins my adventure into another aspect of Web 2.0. During this adventure I hope to share the stories and go on rants about semi-pointless topics. The creation of the Sour Spot grew out of one of those stories, a story of the time when things were just going along and you experience the sour spot. We have all lived them and we share some of them. The sour spot may not always by definition be sour, but it is always not part of the equation.

To say that I am only writing to share my stories and thoughts would only be half the story. In truth we all have ulterior motives. Look at Fox News, do they really want to just share the news, or do they want to scare the hell out of us so that we turn back to a time of the “silent majority.” Which we all know to mean- get the old white man back in power, but I digress, as it is too early for a rant. What are my hidden motives, but simply to work on my writing skills. To work on my ability to take the many strange and wonderful things that have happened to me and craft a story out of them to share with you. You should be so honored, I’m sure all couple of you who end up reading this will be.

I will leave you with the anticipation of what strange and wonderful things may have happened to me. And when that next posting comes, and you are blown away by the unbelievably sub-mediocrity that is my writing, to not blame me, for you are receiving your warning. Only blame yourself, and society’s standards; because we do permit it to be okay to simply watch the oncoming train wreck happen before our very eyes.

See you on the other side of the wreckage.
